ISWI Newsletter - Vol.2 No.101
26 November 2010

Dear ISWI Participant:

I am sure many of you know Dr Christine Amory-Mazaudier of France. She is very active in promoting geophysics (education and research) between Europe, Africa, and Asia. For this promotion, she puts out a newsletter, which I attach. It is the November 2010 issue.

I would like to mention today that there is an international consortium of ground-based magnetometer arrays called ULTIMA. In effect, ULTIMA is an array of arrays. Its website is this: http://www.serc.kyushu-u.ac.jp/ultima/ultima.html. ULTIMA was formed on 17 November 2006 on the campus of UCLA (Los Angeles, California, USA) ... but the location of its annual meeting varies. The next meeting takes place on 12 Dec 2010 at a hotel in San Francisco. California, USA.

Most faithfully yours,
George Maeda
Editor of ISWI Newsletter
