To facilitate the organization of events under VarSITI, VarSITI is making available some funds. I forward a message from the VarSITI co-chairs. Please note the attached pdf, and the dead line for applications.

Dear VarSITI members,

We have a VarSITI grant to support organizing symposiums/workshops and/or campain obervations/database constructions related to VarSITI. If you plan to organize such actitivity in 2014, please contact to the co-leaders of the Projects (SEE, ISEST/Minimax24, SPeCIMEN, or ROSMIC), as shown in the attached guidelines of application by January 31, 2014.

Tomorrow: Trainees from Africa (Nigeria, Egypt, Cote d'Ivoire, and Mozambique) have arrived at ICSWSE for four days of scientific and technical training, January 21 through 24. Story will be told tomorrow with text and photos.
