This is a traditional workshop which is organized by the Space Climate section of the Space Research and Technologies Institute, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.

Solar wind-magnetosphere-ionosphere interactions
Solar influences on the lower atmosphere and climate
Solar effects in the biosphere
Instrumentation for space weather monitoring
Data proccessing and modelling

Over the years, the workshop has attracted between 40 and 100 participants. After 2015 we publish a full-color Book of Proceedings (up to 4 pages per article).

VENUE:

Primorsko is a resort town of Black Sea which is located in Southeastern Bulgaria; near the towns of Sozopol and Ahtopol. Primorsko is located on a peninsula in the Black Sea between the Stamopolu lagoon and the Devil's Bay, at the foot of the Strandzha peaks. These are the biggest and longest beaches along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.

Primorsko enjoys more than 2300 sunshine hours a year. The rivers Ropotamo and Dyavolska reka run close to the town. The Ropotamo nature reserve and Snake Island reserve are also nearby.

Hotel Primorsko Del Sol is situated in the the northern part of town, 200 meters from the center and 50 meters from the beach and features 2 grand swimming pools. Offering fully equipped and elegantly furnished double rooms and apartments, a modern spa center, an up-to-date conference hall,
2 restaurants serving delicious local and international food, 3 bars and a nightclub.
